14th Street Pizza

14th street pizza is located in the hub of Islamabad which is Blue Area. There are different pizza places in town, but the reason 14th street stands out is they are the ones who introduced 20 inch pizza in their order line apart from this they also allow you to customize your own pizza with different sauces and toppings. which differentiates them from other restaurants in town.

I along with my friend visited their restaurant last week. We ordered Chicken Fajita in small size and a pizza wheel which was recently launched in their sideline. The crust of the pizza was thin, and its border was hard which was making it hard to chew. The topping of the pizza was done with different vegetables like capsicum, tomato, and onion. Pizza was filled with chicken chunks and cheese. With this, they have used different sauces in it which made the taste unique and different from others. Next in our order was the pizza wheel. The bread/dough was filled with chicken, capsicum, and cheese. The presentation of this was in a circular form as the name implies. This was presented with their special sauce. The price of this pizza wheel was around Rs500 which was cheap than their other items and they have kept the price low so more people buy and they can bring any change in it if needed. The order was served within 15 mins. After almost 15 mins we received warm pizza which made us forget all our day tiredness. In drinks, we both chose chilled Coke and have it with our warm pizza. The ambiance of the restaurant is welcoming. The staff was very cooperative. They have a family friendly environment where you can visit with both your family and friends and enjoy your time spent here. Both dine in and delivery services are provided by them. In the end, I would highly recommend their pizza wheel if you are low on the budget do try it out.

Street Biryani

What can be more exciting than a biryani on a hectic spa day?

Street Biryani is an authentic biryani place which can add a spicy tarka to your everyday life. I discovered this amazing restaurant after a busy spa day. This place is located in F7 markaz, right next to a re-known beauty salon, Jugnu. 

Starting from the menu, it offers a huge variety of desi food, such as, biryani, nihari, karahi and roast etc. Astonishingly, within the option of biryani, they offer almost every kind, ranging from chicken tikka, malai-boti to mutton and, yes, beef also. Moreover, their mutka biryani is the most popular among all. Hence, they can be called as the pioneers of the mutka biryani. 

As the food review journey continues, the mouth-watering experience is revived as they have a long-lasting delicious and unique taste. After the order is placed, they take around 15-20 minutes to serve you with their tasty creation. They have a generous amount of portion even for a single serving and the emphasis is made on the finger-licking quality biryani they have. 

Street Biryani has a vision to provide the local Islamabadians with the taste of original "Karachi ki biryani". They include the potato factor in the biryani to make it more of an experience of its primary taste. Furthermore, they have the best spice which links it with the original roller-coaster of spices used in the desi households.

Lastly, the ambiance of the place is normal and if we compare it with other desi setups, it is relatively small space to eat-in. But the overall quality and quantity of the biryani (also the other food items on the menu), minimizes this factor of space congestion and can be compromised.

Sage Cafe & Grill

The Sage Café & Grill, located in F-7 Islamabad, is one of the greatest venues to satiate all of your food desires. One of the nicest things about this restaurant is that they never compromise on the quality and amount of food, and it is also a family-friendly restaurant. The restaurant's surrounds provide a lovely view and a cozy ambience, making it a more livable setting, and you appreciate your time spent here. Overall, they keep the lights subdued in the evening. 

The Parmesan Chicken Pasta I had was very amazing. The quantity was also worth the price, and it was a generous dish, more than enough for one person. Marinara and mozzarella cheese were slathered on top of the golden fried chicken. The penne pasta was enhanced by dipping it in a creamy parmesan sauce. Pasta, chicken, and cheese are a fantastic combo that will satisfy your hunger and leave you with nothing left to eat. The order time to serve meal was about 15-20 minutes. The appetizer was offered before the main course, and we all chose the Sage Combo Platter. This plate has their trademark sauces on chicken, onion rings, and cheese sticks. The look of the platter was appealing to all of us, and the taste of all things was tasty. In terms of beverages, half of us picked Margarita and the other half Coke. When any of us required something, the restaurant staff would offer it to us right away.

 

A must-see if you enjoy cuisine in large amounts at a fair price.

Nocciola Chocolaterie

Trying new things at our favorite dessert place Nocciola Chocolaterie

Was expecting a lot from this Nutella Cheesecake but unfortunately didn't enjoy it as much as I thought. They should hold back a bit on the Nutella topping - I know I know, the more the better usually, but in this case it seemed to be a tad too much. The cheesecake texture was relatively dry too.

Their Nutella-filled Cookie Slice was a scoop of ice cream was great! The cookie was well warmed up, crisp yet chewy, and paired great with the ice cream. 

(didn't get the name of the flavor, but it was something with caramel and cookie chunks). Loved it! 9/10

Got my eye on their brownie and brownie crepe now.

BunBurry club & Lounge

So finally got a chance to try BunBurry club & lounge and their mesmerizing concept of live cheese.

I had their double patty beef burger with crazy sauce (BBQ sauce basically) served with fries and coleslaw. The burger patty was quite dry, although I ordered juicy one.

Price: 949/- (tax exclusive)

Rating: 7/10 (Only because we deserve at least good juicy, moist patty at this rate). The next thing was club sandwich (Because they were out of panini and other sandwiches) It had chunks of grilled chicken, really good in taste. 

Rating: 8/10

Their ambiance is good, and the staff and services are also up to the mark.

(They are offering complimentary live cheese)
